Overview
SolMads is a collection of 3333 NFTs divided into 4 Nomadic Tribes – the Panuk, Zuberi, Mira and Briar – with some REALLY nicely written lore behind them which can be found in the Talas Tales channel of their Discord.
The project itself is centred around creating a Y-Combinator of Solana Mobile. In other words, they want to identify talented individuals with great ideas for mobile-centric products that will go a long way towards adoption of the next Crypto users. Holders will get early access to projects being incubated and will also get to pitch other ideas and opportunities. Holders will also have the opportunity to earn from funds deployed on multi-chain yield strategies and projects that have been incubated. The appeal for projects to go through SolMads is not only the incubation process but immediate access to holders (however many there are) to Beta test and use the product as well.
Current projects in the works include:
- A mobile card game is in the works where $BEADS will be used to buy-in and SOL is given as rewards.
- Cellar: a multi-chain NFT portfolio tracker with a built-in NFTDefi Aggregator. A preview of the MVP build can be seen in their Discord here.

$BEADS
The MadLabs ecosystem will be centred around their utility token, $BEADS. Utilities for the token include (but are not limited to)
- To be used in the apps built
- Voted Escrow Tokenomics (i.e. the more $BEADS you accumulate, the more involved you can be in the ecosystem and DAO Governance)
- Time-based staking rewards (i.e. the longer you are staked for, the higher your earning rate will be)
- Participate in prize-driven games
- Purchasing real-world products through their various apps
- Discounted access to future apps and their NFT collections where applicable
- Earn USDC from project funds being deployed in yield strategies and profit sharing of projects launched by MadLabs.
Earn Rates
Earn rates on the SolMads Collection is as follows:
- Elders – 9 $BEADS/day
- Earner – 5 $BEADS/day
- Learner – 3 $BEADS/day
The attribute that these traits come under is age.
OG Passes provide a 1.7x Multiplier on $BEADS earnings
Time based staking also rewards those who have been staked for longer with earnings bonuses.

I’ll be honest, I’m naturally going to be a fan of projects really working to promote widespread adoption and user-friendly mobile apps are going to make up a huge part of that. A large portion of the existing crypto community already performs the majority of their activities via mobile phones even though most existing applications leave a lot to be desired. Creating quality apps is essential to continuing the growth of crypto users.
Despite minting at probably the worst time leading into the FTX event, the team remain undeterred and have been quietly going about their business behind the scenes with regular updates being provided on Cellar which is currently being built. Nyanni and Mr. Brown have impressed me in their capacity as Founders due to their willingness to engage with questions in a very open way. I first encountered Nyanni on an episode of The Cat Tank run by Fat Cats Capital and found him to be very dialled in to what he is wanting to achieve.
As someone who typically doesn’t bother much with collection lore, Tala Tales is very well written and engaging. Credit to Tala for putting this together.
Website interface is very clean and aesthetic and one can only assume this would be reflected in the apps they build.
I do believe that this project will attract a very niche holder-base. This isn’t something to flip for a quick profit. It’s for those who have an interest in app development and want to be involved in the development of the next wave of crypto apps.
