The way we can use this to our advantage is by knowing that coins with news will have more eyes on them. There is a common phrase “Buy the rumor, sell the news.” And this phrase basically means to buy before the news, but also sell just before or at the release of the news event. This is because it’s very common for a price run-up to happen on significant news events, but a retracement to occur shortly after the actual release.
So if BTC is bullish and we are looking for long positions, charting the projects with news soon to be released can be wise. On the other hand, if we are looking for short positions, charting the projects that have just had a news release can be beneficial.
It is important however, to only trade with the BTC trend and not force these trades only because of the news. So we can start by just charting what we see for a few of these coins currently and then keeping tabs on them throughout June to see if any trade opportunities arise.
