Scammers are mailing fraudulent letters to Ledger hardware wallet owners, posing as the company to trick users into revealing their private seed phrases.
The letters, which mimic Ledger’s branding and include a QR code, demand immediate "security updates" and threaten restricted wallet access if users fail to comply.
Ledger has warned users that it never requests recovery phrases and urged vigilance against phishing attempts. The scam follows previous reports of tampered fake Ledger devices mailed to users, highlighting ongoing risks in the crypto hardware space.
