MetaMask Drops ETH Gas Requirement, Adds Token Flexibility

MetaMask’s latest update lets users pay gas fees on Ethereum Mainnet with USDT, USDC, DAI, ETH, wETH, wBTC, wstETH, or wSOL, eliminating the need for ETH.

This feature simplifies transactions by allowing gas fees to be covered by various tokens, not just ETH, for all MetaMask activities. Available on the updated extension and mobile app.
