Bybit was hacked on Feb 21, 2025, losing $1.4B (500k ETH) to North Korea’s Lazarus Group, the largest crypto heist ever.

As of Apr 21, 68.57% ($960M) is traceable, 27.59% ($386M) untraceable, and 3.84% ($54M) frozen.

Funds were laundered via Wasabi Mixer, CryptoMixer, Tornado Cash, and Railgun, then moved through Thorchain, eXch, and others to P2P/OTC platforms.

432,748 ETH ($1.21B) became 10,003 BTC across 35,772 wallets; 5,991 ETH ($16.77M) stays on Ethereum. LazarusBounty received 5,443 reports, paid $4M for $40M frozen. More bounty hunters needed to decode mixers.
